The drive up to The Mast Farm Inn in Boone, NC was filled with winding roads and quaint towns. The heavy rain slowed to a trickle shortly after I pulled into the parking lot. Stephanie and Warren share my philosophy of "whatever will be will be" when it comes to weather, so long as their loved ones would be there to share the day with them.
After getting ready with their friends, we met behind the bride's cabin for their first look. Warren was blown away by Stephanie's beauty (as well he should, look at her!) and shed a few tears as he read the letter she had written for him. We wandered along the foot of the mountains beneath the fog and drizzle before the ceremony.
Their wedding was one of the more emotional weddings I've been to. Stephanie's father looked on proudly as he began to get emotional during the vows. Warren's mother clutched her chest when she saw her son dance with his wife for the first time. It was such an honor to witness such a raw and vulnerable display of love, and I'm honored to have been there.
Here are a few of my favorite images from their day.
